hmm.
yesterday, me and douglas went back to tao nan to collect last year's math prelim paper. (it's for our math Research Education project, we're sort-of going back to tao nan to teach math). bumped into mrs soh. (why do i always see mrs soh when i go back?! first, the library cip, then the other time also..) chatted a little while.
i'm quite surprised someone actually recognised me, it was a junior whom i met through wushu..? then he quitted. somehow he was in chess too, now he's in badminton. o_o he was like, "do i know you...?" (stare) me: "um.... i think so." he's really tall now.. and i forgot to ask for his name.
ah, the nostalgia.
----------------
woke up at 9.30.
stared at the clock.
closed my eyes for a few seconds, and opened them again, hoping it was only my eyesight.
didn't work though.
jumped out of bed, called bradley ( who was at training already ), ate a banana while running out.
rushed like mad. when i was at bishan mrt, going to change to circle line (to marymount), the sign said it was arriving already.
sprinted, (yes really sprinted ) all the way, went down the stairs two steps at a time and jumped on in time! there's that awesome feeling when you just caught a bus/mrt, and it felt good. everybody was staring at me. then some stranger from outside grinned at me and did that "yes!" fist action. i smiled back.
oh well.
still can't do that three step thingy T_T i can clear the second hurdle, but after that... jialat.
then mr tan told me to do four step! it's really weird to use my dumb leg to clear the hurdle ( first hurdle left leg, second hurdle right leg) cuz it's less flexible. nevertheless, i managed it, although i always lose a lot of speed when i use my right leg. at least, now i can clear all hurdles. which means i can compete.. not that i'll win, but i'll try to get in the top 5.
~ yeah thanks gerald. well said.. never thought of it that way.
